Curd Patties

Curd Patty Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon tahini (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon powdered cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon grated nutmeg

  • ½ teaspoon pepper

  • 1 tablespoon fresh, finely chopped, coriander leaves or another herb

  • 2 tablespoons fresh, finely chopped parsley

  • curd cheese (find the recipe here)

  • cornflour to coat patties

  • Olive oil to cover the base of the frying pan

Method:

Mix all ingredients together, dampen hands, divide the mix into six pieces, roll each piece into a ball and flatten it, coat in cornflour and put aside at least an hour for ingredients to marry. Add olive oil to the pan (about a finger deep) heat, add patties and cook over gentle heat. Turn when browned. Eat hot with Cherry sauce.
